Resurrecting Life - The Emerging Culture of Peace

We will work with meditation and conference to focus on the key questions raised in our last Newsletter:

What is emerging on our planet?
… And what are we doing to bring it to birth?

In that last Newsletter we also included a focus on one of many initiatives being instituted under the inspiration of the Spirit of Peace - the "People's Summit for Departments of Peace" on October 18 & 19 and "Transforming Conflicts and Building a Culture of Peace" on October 16 & 17, both in London. Here in Sydney on 15 October we will focus thought, energy and vision behind these initiatives and all others inspired by the Spirit of Peace and working with the Spirit of Resurrection who brings our focus back to the reality of Life and its wholeness and dispels the illusion of death and separation.

The most subtle forces drive our every thought, feeling and act - a mother's love, recognition of a need, desire for achievement or recognition, fear of failure, desire for power and control, a sense of responsibility, an inspiration from our highest self, and so on. To direct attention to the motivating impulse behind events the Tibetan Master, Djwahl Khul, wrote the following to a disciple but it rings peculiarly true for humanity at this time:

"There are within you … stirrings of revolution and rebellion … Of their depth and purpose you have as yet but little understanding. You must remember that rebellion may be based on purely selfish desire for a way of life which your personality may demand. But it can also be soul-produced … One of the first things a (world server) has to learn is the real nature of that which is directing him and conditioning him. With many it is some aspect of the personality as a whole; in a few, it is the soul. With still others, the promptings may come from a sense of inferiority and its consequent reaction of a carefully considered defence mechanism; with still others, it may be circumstance, or the race mind or popular opinion or the people with whom they are associated through ancient ties, karmic liabilities or self-chosen responsibility."

So many amazing, momentous and mobilising events are occurring throughout our world. Even the natural world is undergoing great upheavals as we turn on a new tide into a new world, a new day, a new culture and a new civilisation. A new motivating centre of force is radiating through the planet and its humanity. Tsunamis, hurricanes, floods of epic proportions bring an Aquarian cleansing of our values and human relations. Millions are sacrificed through hunger, thirst and oppression to clarify the need and draw out the recognition of our common humanity and our common spirit as right human relations begin to form and express around the world. Such crises in such untold number and effect! Such opportunities to live to the essential truth and to dissipate the illusion of separateness, exclusivity and superiority - and to end the blinding fog of parochialism, complaisance, apathy and all the orthodoxy used to rationalise and protect it!

We begin to recognise and applaud the heroes who selflessly serve their fellow men. And as we follow their lead we usher in a new era of the leadership of the enlightened servers in place of the merely ambitious, acquisitive or self-serving. Competition, ambition and individual material success (of individuals, groups or nations) have demonstrated their destructive power and their service to death. This has clarified human vision to the point where it can begin to see and reveal the forces of life - eternally present and now, through the Spirit of Resurrection, bringing to light all that yet needs to be addressed as well as all that is truly good and beautiful.

What is the reality being restored to us, through us and by us? We need only to cut through the veils of an old conditioning and an old identity and look upon the real destiny which human consciousness was intended to express. It only requires us to let go of any desire to hold to, protect or hide behind anything. For everything is ultimately known and still embraced by the whole, still loved through to realisation, still understood as a point of emergence of the spirit of life itself working out.

The Spirit of Resurrection strides across the Aquarian water of life. Death no longer imprisons our consciousness with its fear, blame and bitter divisions. We know that there is no death - only the great reservoir of Life in which we onward move into fuller realisation. The leadership of the enlightened inspires enlightenment in us all. Such leaders build the new culture which is created through freedom, wholeness, recognition of every interdependent part within the whole of life and is organised through the power of the Spirit of Peace. The new civilisation is the externalisation, through time and space, of a living reality that has ever been and awaits only our realisation and implementation. The following extract from the Epilogue of the "The Journey Continues" reveals the new era:

"The Day dawned bright and clear and the Sun followed its upward journey to the zenith. Full overhead the Sun shone down upon the Earth and upon its peoples and the shadows contracted close around the objects that had cast them. No longer were the long, long fingers of the shadows claiming the world. No longer could those things that thrive in darkness find place.
All things were open to view. The world with all its kingdoms, with all its beings, was seen as One - a single living entity expressing the beauty and wisdom of its diversity as the Logos had planned from the beginning.
All artificial divisions disappeared in the brilliance of the light. They were but the illusions caused when the forms stood in the way of the flood of light from the higher worlds. Forgetting that they were the Children of the Father and believing they were the forms through which they lived and expressed, had been the major cause of human problems throughout long ages.
… … Now the turning cycles of the Cosmos brought this world into the influence of those energies through which the spiritual kingdom, the fifth kingdom of the planet, could be apprehended and realised.
… … As the people struggled to adjust to the needed changes demanded by the incoming spiritual energies they began to realise that the answer was not to be found by devising outward changes. Unless there were basic changes in consciousness and the vaster horizon of Life was recognised, then the intended task would not be accomplished, and they could not enter the freedom of the fifth Kingdom to serve the plan of the new era together with their group.
In the meantime the knowers of the race continued to serve and stood as a bridge between the veil of forms in which their brothers still lingered, and the spiritual world. The Teacher who was to come looked upon his group of workers in the world and saw that their wills were merged with the greater Will and that they lived in goodwill for all. They were the magnetic seed of the future. They represented the assurance that the divine Plan of the Logos would not be thwarted by any lack of understanding of the people but now could move in unrestrained emergence to guide humanity upon the next stage upon the Way.
The Sun poured forth its spiritual light and the grouped knowers of Aquarius, thinking ever in terms of the response to the light of Life, and of service to the world, realised that the Teacher had never left them. He was known and seen by those who heard his sound. They worked beside him wielding the spiritual energies of the New Time as the Earth moved into the Age of Aquarius, the Server, to bring the soul in all into response and cooperation with the inner plan of the Logos.
And before long everyone will see Him."

In the book, The Nature of the Soul, by Lucille Cedercrans we read: "Men and women everywhere are becoming restless, dissatisfied and overburdened with the world of material values they have created for themselves. They seek new values which will bring lasting peace to their world, little knowing as yet the nature of that peace."
The Nature of the Soul is a course of instruction that progressively guides students, via meditation, in the building of a working alignment with the Wisdom so that it becomes part of their conscious awareness. Its underlying premise is that the soul is the means whereby humanity evolves a consciousness of Divinity.
